Well, good morning. I'm actually about to head up to the Cumberland, Maryland area in order to show some clients properties out that way.

Cumberland's actually a really neat area, often slept on, in this section of the tri-state area. Some good things about it: I think it was formerly a railroad town, and it's experiencing a little bit of revitalization. My clients in particular are there for the regional airport that's nearby, but that's certainly a little bit more of a niche desire for most folks.

The really cool part is you're not too far away from some great vacation spots. You're a hop and a skip away from Pennsylvania if you want to jump into that, and there are some historic areas nearby.

But most importantly, it's tucked out of the way and fairly quiet. If you're working remote, say out of the DMV area, this would be a great spot if you really want to get out there and experience a nice, quiet, mostly country life.

Cumberland itself is a pretty good-size city, and there are major roads going in and out of there. The biggest concern is if you're doing a whole lot of traveling in the wintertime, because it is tucked into the mountains, so those roads can get a little dicey. But if you're used to that, it should be no issue, especially if you're coming from the Midwest or really any mountainous region in the country. You're probably pretty familiar with dealing with icy conditions, and that's certainly not all the time. Otherwise, it's a great area to be.

I've been blessed to do a good bit of business out there so far, and we're looking forward to helping that area expand. So, the Cumberland area, Cumberland, Maryland: good spot, check it out. If you're interested, feel free to reach out to me at any of the contact information below, and we'll see if we can hook you up. We'll see you next time.
